@BJ220302 @vickyweberbooks I've been seeing a ton of new MG novels lately on Instagram. The majority are from the UK. There is a US MG fantasy series that's becoming a film, but it's in the early production stages.

Hot take: the current publishing slowdown isn’t a lack of talent problem. It’s a bandwidth problem.

And its multi-lingual capability is more shaped and limited by the platform the AI engine is located on. I tried the same prompt in Chinese using Nano Banana Pro on different platforms. One produced superb result, the other tried its best to translate it into English.

It is thus essentially limited and shaped by what I know and have been doing. It cannot replace me, as my knowledge grows and my actions vary as time passes. So, the same prompt using the same AI engine on the same platform by different users will produce very different results

AI still cannot replace humans. I have tried using it to generate videos (script to voice, avatar) and generate slides / diagrams for me. Despite what various companies say, I am pretty sure it is fetching info from my drive and my digital footprint. 1/2
