Ticonderoga #2 pencil. Ball point pens weren't allowed. Also a Sheaffer mechanical pencil for drafting classes and a Pelikan M215 for lettering, a carpenter pencil for rendering...hand sharpened with a pocket sized penknife inherited from my grandfather. I was gifted a Graf von Faber-Castell Bloom Ebony Fountain Pen...fabulous...which isn't used as much as it should...looks great on my desk, cos a Pelikan rollerball R400 and a #2 are still my daily go-to. Since retiring I dropped the Autodesk sub and use Sketchbook on a tablet...very intuitive and the brushes and pens have a realistic feel. Yeah, we pencil users aren't all Luddites.😉
