Rd 17 Score: 2237 Rank: 391 Trades: Mills + Clarke to Miers + Rowston Dropped some ranks this week. Pivoted my trades with the Baz late out news. My initial trades were going to be Mills + Sinclair to Caldwell + Rowston. The idea was to put McCarthy on field and then take bulk cash (400k+) into this week and moving forward to help do 4 upgrades of subpar premium types to uber-premiums over the next 2 weeks, but news of the Baz late out meant I had to change plans as I didn't have bench cover and I didn't want to eat a donut. So decided to use that bulk cash to turn Angus Clark to Miers instead. I think my only way of making up ground on the better teams with better TV was to do my initial plan as my bench value is not sufficient to be able to make the necessary upgrades and then pray McCarthy could give me 85ish over a month or so. Too many sub-par scores unfortunately this week though, Bergman, Hewett, Moore, etc etc. Will need to have a think about how to make up ground here, dont think it'll be easy without taking reasonably significant risk given most of the better teams will now essentially be sideways trading premos into premos with good matchups etc. How'd you go?

Ended up being between Butler and Mitchell but ended up going with Butler due to needing a FWD. Both scoring 64 ends in a stalemate but 68% TOG (compared to Mitchell's 78%) suggests that Butler might be the bigger sub risk if it wasn't for the Worpel injury. #AFLFantasy #AFL
