I’d like to offer my services to all NHL teams to help with how to defend a 2 on 1 🙏 I don’t have much to offer at this point. But I’ve watched enough tape now to know that the 2 in 1 defending is broken and needs fixing . Slideitis is running rampant in the NHL

@grantmccagg I remember the grumbling too… I was one of them. Kapanen is such a unique player to me. Almost never see him skate hard as he seems to be in close puck support at all time. Really good net skills/elusiveness in ozone in general. Now — if Dach is back where does he play?

I don't consider a player who plays a fraction of a season at center to be a center when it comes to such things. Chuck for the majority of his first three seasons was used on the wing...I remember all of the grumbling about it quite clearly, ha ha. He mainly played with Gally and Eller on a Kid line as a rookie.
