Paperwork lodged. The Brisbane Lions have made an offer to Restricted Free Agent Tom Doedee (Adelaide Crows). The Adelaide Crows are now in the three-day period where the club can decide whether to match the offer or not. The three-day period ends 10am AEDT, Thursday October 12.

@RyanDSears 100%, we’ve been stooged with the lack of MCG games for years. Don’t think you’ll find a Lions person who didn’t want us to have an extra run on the G. Does that not highlight the advantage even more to you?

@BL4L_ If i was a Lions fan I would be more annoyed at having to play the pies at Marvel instead of the G in Rd 23, Lions would have got a lot out of that I think

@Haydenseivers1 Easter Thursday v Pies is our locked in Gabba game, that’s not changing. You can’t be thick enough to think the Lions went to the AFL and asked not to play at the G? We’ve been crying out for more games there after years of being shipped off to Tassie, Ballarat and anywhere else

@BL4L_ You sound like Chris Scott complaining about home ground advantages. Maybe if your club didn’t decide to play Collingwood at either marvel or the Gabba every year for the past 5 years, you might actually be half decent on the ground.

@RyanDSears The point is that they could’ve finished 8th and they still would’ve had the home ground advantage - they’ll ALWAYS have it regardless of who finishes where. But he has the nerve to sook about a fan voted song? Nah
