Brisbane lions Saturday session notes: They did a strong session, it was match sim over 4 periods followed by a running session They didn’t rest or let anyone sit out it was all systems go and it was heated it feels the coaching staff aren’t impressed with the start to 2026. Notes: - Kiddy coleman/ Dayne Zorko split kick ins - Lachie Neale, the lions best again - Harris Andrews played team A although suspended - Jasper Fletcher played a mix of wing and defence - Zane Zakostelsky played in defence - Zac Bailey played midfield time swapping forward - Hugh McCluggage did 100% of the session - Sam Draper moved really really well - Cam Rayner was isolated deep in the goal square a lot - the lions love the ball in kiddy’s hands and was back to zoning around half back and kicking elite - Tom Doedee looked very impressive overhead he is good to go - Logan Morris played the first period, will be good to go you’d think. - Darragh Joyce played and is fit again - The Lions main midfield mix was S. Draper W. Ashcroft, Neale, McCluggage - Jarrod Berry, Bruce Reville, D. Annable played the win roles - Dan Annable was team A, looked great and played with confidence - Levi Ashcroft was great also - Eric Hipwood and Connor McKenna did skills and running and are looking good The lions injury/ Suspension list was at 16: Although if all goes to play they will Regain 6-7 this week to either AFL or VFL #AFLFantasy #UPDATE
