A big thank you to Mr. OD Tompkins for taking the time to talk to my class about the history of desegregation in Katy ISD. Mr. Tompkins was one of the first Black educators in Katy and has a high school named after him. @MarlaMcNeese mother was KHS first Black HOCO Queen in 1974

After 19 years of traveling back to H-town we still encounter traffic like this. Not even the three lane highway stretch that was added helps. There were four different times today where it was stop and go traffic. I10 was still considered the fastest route 🤦🏻‍♀️
