@TJandCasper John, here’s a little something that someone sent my family when we lost our Lab. I want to share it with you. 🙏🏻

So many people have told me Casper would send me a sign. So here’s what happened. When I couldn’t get unloaded Tuesday Pete called and asked what I wanted to do when I did get empty come home or keep trucking. I said trucking is hard but sitting is worse. So I agreed to take a load to Texas. After talking with Pete I was killing time looking at pictures of puppies in MN after awhile I stumbled across some WGS puppies in a small town in Mn. I looked at them all, They were fun to look at. But they go fast and I’ll be heading to Texas. So I didn’t think much of it and moved on. I never said a word about the puppies to anyone. Yesterday as I was getting ready to head to Texas. Pete sent me the confirmation sheet for my reload out of Texas. My reload from Texas is taking me within just a couple of miles of where the puppies are. When I saw the name of the town I immediately called the people and will meet them Sunday morning. I don’t know if there could be a clearer sign then that from Casper. This is a blessing.

For anyone reading this as the week rolls along so quickly, I’m lifting up this prayer for you:
I’m praying for those grieving loved ones, facing health challenges, struggling financially, dealing with life’s stresses, or feeling sadness for reasons unknown.
May God meet you where you are today and fill you with joy, hope, renewed energy, and resilience. May His love surround you and your loved ones.
In Jesus’ name, Amen.

On February 3, 1959, a small chartered plane crashed into a frozen cornfield near Clear Lake, Iowa, killing Buddy Holly, Ritchie Valens, "The Big Bopper" J.P. Richardson, and pilot Roger Peterson. The tragedy later became known as "The Day the Music Died," a phrase popularized by Don McLean in American Pie.
The musicians were in the middle of the brutal Winter Dance Party tour, a poorly planned run of Midwestern shows with long overnight drives, no days off, broken-down buses, and subzero temperatures. Illness and exhaustion were common, one band member even suffered frostbite.
Frustrated with the bus conditions after their February 2 show at the Surf Ballroom in Clear Lake, Buddy Holly chartered a Beechcraft Bonanza to fly ahead to Fargo, North Dakota, near their next stop in Moorhead, Minnesota. Richardson, sick with the flu, took Waylon Jennings' seat, while Valens won his spot on the plane in a coin toss with guitarist Tommy Allsup.
Shortly after takeoff, late at night in poor winter weather, the pilot lost control. The aircraft crashed, killing everyone on board.
The loss marked one of the most significant tragedies in rock and roll history. Today, memorials stand at the crash site and in Clear Lake, where annual concerts at the Surf Ballroom honor the artists' final performance and lasting legacy.
