@NicheSiteLady I did this with great success - launched the Youtube channel this way. However, I didn’t find any shortcuts, so did it the simple way - hired VO to read the article as a script and had video editor do the rest.

The growth of my faceless channel I started this year has really picked up! Consistency pays off in the long-term.

It's so fun to celebrate these small wins 🥳

In the most recent Google algo updates, forum sites like Quora got a big boost. That made me wonder if investing time into building a profile on Quora for your affiliate site is worth your time?
Does anyone have any experience with @Quora?

@sixdigitniche I also started a faceless YT channel for my affiliate site, so I would be intrested in more tips/tricks regarding YT. I have some steady growth since I launched, averaging 20k views per month total, but would love to level up
English

If you have a YT channel and want to immediately level it up, do these 3 things:
1) Pay $100 for a thumbnail, no less. This is your bow-tied, velvet-lined gift box. The chocolate might be good, but the packaging must be great. You are probably an operator, not an artist, so don't try to be both - import an expert's skills when you can.
2) Use less than 7 words in the thumbnail. The title is for words, the thumbnail is for visual things. My best videos have less than 3 words with a VERY custom image that clearly stands out, a hint of curious creativity. It's also clear that AI is not used - my thumbnails could be posters.
3) Make high-quality videos that are difficult to reproduce. This is a faceless channel, but it's been shared in universities, training seminars, prisons, and congress. I do all of my research, and sometimes it takes a whole week. I proofread each script multiple times, for hours. I personally narrate each video, and edit meticulously so that my tone of voice and humor flows well.
When I finally hit publish, the video couldn't be better. Conversely, when I look back, I think some of my earliest videos are the worst, but I know I gave 100% of the effort that my skills allowed when I created them. Think about where your video will be proudly shared, if someone will watch the entire thing, and if they would recommend it to a friend.
If you want to succeed, you can't cut corners.

@VincasStonys However, what I was not expecting is that the YouTube channel itself seems to be making some affiliate commissions and is growing quite fast, so now my goal is to get this channel monetized ASAP as by my rough estimation, the ads could add $100-$200 revenue per month
English

@VincasStonys This was kind of an experiment for me. I already have an affiliate website and I figured I would build a faceless channel to see what would happen. I always embed Youtube videos on the articles, so that in theory should increase page on time, thus better organic traffic.

@sixdigitniche I assume you outsource your videos (scripwriting, esiting, VO etc.). How much does one video cost you to make? Feel free to breakdown the cost by each category

Throwback to the month I made $30,000 from Youtube Ads.
It was exhilarating watching the realtime views.
(I had 0 shorts at this time, all 8+ minutes videos!)
Here's how I did it:
1) Created 90 keyword-oriented videos (took 8 months to grow subscriber base and give YT data about my audience)
2) Switched to trendy video topics, posting 3 per week, making note of which video did the best each week
3) Continued for 3 months, continually improving small details and a few really popped off...
It was simple, not easy.
