@LukeWaddell I don't even go downtown for lunch anymore. It all just makes me so sad because I fully expect it to get worse.

I rented in Downtown Wilmington for a short while, while building our home across town. Saturday morning walks with our young family were just like this - I was consistently on alert for zombies. It felt awful as a father, protector and a leader in our community. I was a Councilman in @CityofWilm at the time. I spoke out about it - presented common sense solutions - and ultimately was booted out of office for having the audacity to push back against the insanity. LA is waking up. When will we?
