A majority of voters in Montana rejected a requirement that newborn babies must be given medical care if they need it. Still not permissible to actually kill the babies, but they can be left to die of breathing difficulties, infection, etc. Does this need a comment?

The constitutional amendment Luxembourg's parliament just passed (March 3, 2026) adds: "The freedom to resort to voluntary termination of pregnancy is guaranteed. The law determines the conditions under which this freedom is exercised." It changes nothing about current law: abortion on request up to 12 weeks (end of first trimester). After that, only for severe maternal health risks or fatal fetal anomalies. A proposal to extend to 14 weeks was rejected.

2nd level school principal said here: "Each religion has its own ‘truth’ into which people tend 2b born." Saying this he thought "ensures the dignity of students from multiple belief systems & provides space for intellectual autonomy." It's telling students truth doesn't matter

@Conor1960 Fundamental issue here is place of truth in education, not least in religious education. To teach students there is no truth or it can't be known is a disservice to them, setting them up for a life without ultimate purpose or hope.
