Super interesting article from @astrange @jamdac - a16z.com/vsaas-vertical… I took their NAICS dataset a step further, to calculate what's left over in revenue for the "not top 50 firms" (called them "normals" lol maybe there's a better term), and it yields a clear prioritization of where to build loom.com/share/37f3fb8c… I have long been fascinated by the "which verticals SHOULD you build in for vertical SaaS" question, and with this + a dataset of vertical SaaS/AI vendors by vertical (saturation) you could map a quadrant of where to go launch AI-native, easy-to-use SaaS now.

At the grocery store that we shop at, there is a new cashier who cheerfully updates us about her pitcher plant and the graphic novel that she's working on; her brother is a grip on a film crew, so he knows all about composition!, and I really hope that nobody steps on her heart
