One big issue in the current year is the desire to use Christianity as a sort of "carrier" or "skinsuit" for various traditional social attitudes that aren't actually teachings of the religion. Christianity is a radical thing, and often pushed back *against* such stuff.

There are 3 factors which correlate strongly with replacement plus fertility: 1. Earlier female marriage, 2. fewer years of female education, 3. lower rates of female wage employment. Not paternity leave, or 4,000 sq ft suburb houses, etc. But this is naughty to discuss.

@Empty_America This is overstated. Marriage that early is just as historically anomalous as older marriage today. Most of recorded statistical history in England puts marriage in the mid 20’s

It is quite true that most women can marry at 30 and theoretically have 4+ children. It is also true that every sub-group on earth retaining replacement plus fertility "dissents" from the modern late marriage norm, and validates marriage at 18-21. The Pattern is very Clear. Some have been deceived by the fact that the primary issue appears to be social. There appear to be extensive second and third order effects of female marriage age, with later marriage leading to low fertility for reasons that aren't necessarily related to physical fertility at all.
