Rooted in Green: BPCL’s Pledge for Mumbai’s Eco-Friendly Lifeline! Celebrating BPCL’s 48th Foundation Day, BPCL signed an MOU with Mumbai Division of Indian Railways yesterday, to plant 65,000 Bougainvillea Glabra saplings along the Central Railway track from Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus to Kalyan, creating carbon sinks, noise barriers and offsetting emissions. The MOU was signed by Shri Raman Malik General Manager (Admin Services, Facilities & CSR), BPCL and Shri Samar Gaurabh (Sr. DEnHM / BB) in presence of Shri. Sanjeev Raina Executive Director (Corporate HSSE), Shri Rajnish Kumar Goyal (Divisional Railway Manager) and senior officials from BPCL and Indian Railways. As we approach India Energy Week on February 24, where BPCL is a partner sponsor, these saplings will play a crucial role in balancing emissions, aligning with our net-zero mission. #BPCL #CSR
