Sydney Pollack was a damn good filmmaker. Hell, he was a damn good actor too. Pollack’s credits as both a filmmaker & actor are extensive & filled with movies that you probably love but might not know were made by Pollack. Tootsie is my personal favorite Pollack film of all time.

Sometimes I feel like I’m entering my final years of NYC nightlife. I’ve been going to Hair of the Dog/Gem Saloon since I was 17 years old. It’s basically the same bars just older versions, same drunken stories, same dudes still trying to split a $800 tab 8 ways. At what point do you hang it up unc?
