The Carney Liberals did not win a majority government through a general election or today's by-elections. Instead, it was won through backroom deals with politicians who betrayed the people who voted for them. While the Prime Minister spent the year on this cynical power grab, he has doubled the deficit, and given Canada the worst grocery prices and housing costs in the G7. Liberals expect Canadians to give up, get complacent and go away, so Carney can have total power without any accountability. That will not happen. Our country and its people are worth fighting for. We will continue to fight for people to afford homes, food and fuel. We will continue to fight for safety in our streets. We will continue to fight for our resource workers and soldiers. I’m not saying people don’t have legitimate struggles, they absolutely do. But there’s a difference between recognizing barriers… and using them as a reason to stay stuck. Curious where people land on this.

At what point do we stop blaming our parents for simply bringing us into the world? I keep hearing, “I didn’t ask to be born.” Okay… but now that you’re here, what’s the plan? Yes, there are real issues: Housing is broken. The economy is tough. Systems aren’t fair. But your parents didn’t create global inflation, corporate greed, or late-stage capitalism. They raised you the best they could with what they had, many of them struggling themselves. At some point, there has to be a shift from blame to ownership. Because if everything is always someone else’s fault, your parents, past generations, “the system” then you’re handing over your power to change anything. Acknowledging unfairness is valid. Living in permanent victimhood isn’t. So where’s the line?
