Things change really quickly in football and a lot of clubs are now moving away from a Sporting Director model in favour of shared responsibility. Ultimately as long as the people making the decisions are experienced and know what they’re doing then whatever works best is best!

@Ibrox____ @KaiGWatson That was my main issue, for 30mins we absolutely battered them with intensity, physicality but then let them have some control and Composure. Gerrard teams had ability to be thay physical and intense but control possession too. It cried out for more control 2nd half

You cannot play a Midfield 2 against them when one plays far too on the front foot & lacks discipline/defensive awareness in key moments. Allowed Celtic to get complete control of the game after about the half-hour mark and didnt adapt to it until it was too late. Even when Diomande came on, it was still operating with a 10 & not sorting the Midfield 3 until 82.

Perfect first half, they couldn't live with our power, physicality and running and everything was FORWARD. Second half...well, we blew it. Failed to win the 2nd balls and slack on the break and as soon as you see us passing back instead of brave forward play you know we'll invite pressure and cede territory. It's on the players who disappeared. Mentality, belief, will all be questioned -but there can be no wallowing as the fact remains the title is still there and can be won.

@FrazFletcher Grassroots is polluted now with the 'academies' offering starstuck kids and parents unrealistic pathways for exorbitant fees.

There are less boys interested in playing aswell im finding but as a coach I know I can help young talent or those who want to play fall in love with the game again. Showing a young player you see and believe in them is a huge part of the battle.

This is happening more and more unfortunately but the good news is it's driving people to the lower leagues, where the game is less contaminated and more for the everyday person.

Hate to be the bearer of bad news but we didn’t spunk 8 million on Chermiti to have a good against St Mirren at Ibrox. For that price tag I’m expecting 20 plus goals a season guaranteed & so far he looks as if he couldn’t finish his dinner Score goals, then the praise will come

Watch most grassroots youth football/soccer training sessions and it's like a robotic assembly line. Want to develop better players? Ditch the endless instructions, give them decisions to make. Creativity > Commands. ⚽🧠💡

When you're a limited team like we are, you can still achieve things if you do the basics and work hard - but with the likes of Djiga you have no chance. He sold the game, and is a game on game liability. If we're serious about rectifying the £30m recruitment disaster we've inflicted on ourselves, then the first signal of intent should be returning him to Wolves.

It just shows how bad Thelwells recruitment has been that folk are choking for Bajrami to come back into the starting line up… no offence to him but he wasn’t good enough last year.

If 3atb is the new norm, then it cannot be with those who started there in the last two games. Tavernier/Souttar/Cornelius Against domestic dross, you only need one CMF - get Moore, Gassama, Aasgaard ahead of them. Still allows two up front, which is a necessity.
