Cloud Engineer & tech enthusiast. I build infra that doesn't break at 2am. If your deploy process is "pray and push", you're in the right place.

Three infra options in 2026: 1. PaaS: convenient until the bill doubles 2. DIY: you own it, you cry on it 3. Freelance: €600/day, no continuity I'm building number 4. 👀

@seansong @openknowledge @nickgomez That's the right question. OpenKnowledge uses git under the hood + MCP for agentic retrieval. Queryable at scale is the whole point of the LLM wiki approach, not just file search.

@BRYANN2K_dev @openknowledge @nickgomez "Local-first AND agent-readable/writable" is the combo that matters — most tools give you one or the other. The thing I'd watch: does it stay queryable as ONE corpus once months of notes pile up? A second brain is only as good as retrieval across all of it.

GitHub Finds #1 🧵 New series. Every Friday I share the repos that actually stood out. Not the usual suspects, tools and AI skills you can use. Tonight: AI tools, design skills, self-hosted infra, and a few gems I dug up this week. 👇

8/ Bubbles by @charmcli TUI components for terminal apps. Spinners, text inputs, tables, progress bars, 15+ primitives ready to use. Build beautiful terminal interfaces. Use it to build CLIs that don't look like CLIs. github.com/charmbracelet/…

I've been digging through GitHub every day this week. Filtered out the noise. Kept the gems. Starting tonight, I'm sharing the best ones every Friday. Open-source tools, AI agent skills, stuff you can actually use. GitHub Finds #1 drops at 9PM. 👀
