It’s clear that there is still work to be done on this front to promote inclusion in sports, especially for youth. Homophobia and transphobia have no place in a progressive society and they should certainly never prevent anyone from experiencing the joy of sports.

This year, @AthleteAlly will be splitting the proceeds with these local organizations that are leading the fight in areas where some of the most anti-LGBTQI+ legislation and policies in the country are being enacted.

Jimmy Gabriel was a legend in Scotland, England and in Seattle.
He gave so much to Seattle-area soccer over many years, including as an assistant coach for Washington men's and women's soccer programs.

HUGE thank you to all those who made donations this month. We managed to CRUSH our goal and raise over $32,000 for @playingforpride @athleteally @BWP_Collective! These donations help to fuel advancement of Black women and the LGBTQI+ community in sports and life.
