I can't believe the Niners, with more than a dozen coaches on staff, took the ball first in OT. Did they not know about the new rules? Shanahan has now been a part of blowing a 28-3 lead, losing two 10-point leads in the Super Bowl, and might have forgotten the new OT rules.

Hockey legend and former Portland Buckaroo Connie Madigan has passed away. So pleased he was able to enjoy taking his proper place in the Oregon Sports Hall of Fame a year and a half ago.

Is this the most meaningless bowl game in #GoDucks football history? Certainly feels like it. Will be interesting to see how many Ducks opt out, and how Lanning and staff motivate players. How many fans travel to a 10 a.m. (PST) game against Liberty? Challenging sell, IMHO.
