@DiceElDani The concern at that point would be if the national team WAS getting calls in favor of them due to this money laundering. It would take everything away from them at that point.

This doesn’t diminish what the players do on the pitch. They’re not the ones moving money through shell companies or signing sponsorship deals.
But if these allegations hold up, it’s an absolutely devastating look for the AFA. And let’s not pretend this is unprecedented—South American federations have found themselves at the center of corruption scandals before.
The game deserves better.

AT&T Stadium will have blackout curtains for at least one World Cup game. Jerry Jones has famously refused to use the anti-glare measure for Cowboys games, despite the stadium being outfitted with them, which have been used for other major events at the stadium.
