Sometimes when we are botanising we can forget to look up! Which would be a shame as #treeflowers are both fascinating & beautiful! This week’s challenge is to go looking for wild & naturalised trees that are blooming. Share your finds for #WildflowerHour this Sunday 8-9pm!

It's Sunday, it's 8pm so it must be #WildFlowerHour! Please share pix of any wild or naturalised plants you saw in bloom last week across Britain & Ireland inc any #storyplants.

I'd hoped to find wood anemones in the woods yesterday (I didn't!), but I was rewarded instead by hundreds of sweet white violets-viola odorata-just in time for this week's #WhiteFlowers challenge for #wildflowerhour

#WhiteFlowers are beautiful so I’m glad this was the #Wildflowerhour challenge.
The little Barren Strawberry has lovely heart shaped petals 🤍 and despite being bedraggled by the recent winds, the Feverfew flower still resolutely looked to the sun.

#WhiteFlowers for #WildflowerHour
Something about white flowers draws the eye.
Perhaps because they appear so simply — a pale star in the hedgebank, a quiet flicker in the woodland.
You notice them almost before you realise you are looking.
And suddenly spring is everywhere.
