I am VERY uncomfortable with Meghan’s invited appearance in Geneva. In my opinion it was a dismal failure and heralded her hypocrisy, however, it proves there is still someone pulling strings that doesn’t have the best interests of the Royal Family at heart. Sophie, Duchess of Edinburgh’s visit isn’t WHO focused at all, it is based around her UN advocacy on sexual violence. Her presence is timed, to coincide with the World Health Assembly. Sophie is in Geneva for a series of diplomatic and NGO‑aligned engagements tied to: • Preventing sexual violence in conflict • Women’s rights and peacebuilding • Her role as a UN‑affiliated advocate (she works with the Preventing Sexual Violence in Conflict Initiative, not WHO) It is no surprise it is being mis-reported and misrepresented. As usual this unfettered prancing by Harry’s wife on the world stage, using her Royal titles, IS doing damage to the institution of the Monarchy and clouding their message. Why it isn’t handled by the Palace mystifies me? Let’s hope there is a plan.
