Reading the Special Counsel’s report on Trump’s criminal efforts to retain power, I’m just profoundly sad. Sad, not bcuz the 130 page report details Trump’s criminal efforts to overturn an American election. No. Sad bcuz the American people don’t care. They. Don’t. Care. And I never thought that would happen here. Not HERE. I never thought THE AMERICAN PEOPLE would be ok with someone who refused to accept election results and then tried to hold onto power. I thought WE would always care about that. But I was wrong. We don’t care. In fact, we just reelected the traitor. That’s why I’m profoundly sad. I just can’t get past the fact that we don’t care.
