I was in and off in bitcoin since 2017 and became a "Maxi" since 2023. Anything maxi (Betting 100% on) is bad. But i lost my conviction on bitcoin as a whole too and now have 0 bitcoin. I like the idea of it still but i don't think it's working. And most of the juice is squeezed. And it's not like i switched from btc maxi to a bond/sp500 guy. I still have risky assets and up about 15% in bitcoin terms since i sold mine.

Who would’ve thought calling 12% Bitcoin exposure concentrated tail risk for a preservation-focused portfolio would trigger this much vengeance from maxis.

@taodejing2 That’s awesome for her first step 👍 Money market funds teach saving but Bitcoin teaches scarcity and time preference. Both are useful, but Bitcoin is the real lesson here.

My 11-year-old daughter made her very first investment of $2,000 into a money market fund. She already has a little bitcoin. Seeing her take this step is pretty cool.
