Yesterday, we delivered ration kits to eight families in Hazratbal, whose houses were completely damaged in a fire a few days ago.

It gives us immense pride and joy to announce that we have reached #700 families with a 30 day ration pack so far. We will continue our drive all through out the month of Ramadan. You can also be a part of this initiative by being one of our donors or volunteers.

It gives us immense pride that we have reached #500 necessitous families under lockdown with a month ration pack. As the holy month of Ramadan approaches us we’ll continue to reach more families in need.

@catchmirr If a group of young Muslim men and women have come forward to support their fellow Kashmiri Sikh brethren in need, we ought to celebrate it. We shouldn’t be apologetic about it. Infact, We are proud of our religious identity and we respect others for theirs.

@catchmirr Completely agree with you. In an ideal world, we should all see each other as just humans. But our realities today are quite the opposite. Hate and lies are used to demonise a community. Given these circumstances, we have to be brutish in putting out the other side of the story.

Today, we received an SOS from 11 Kashmiri Sikh families for ration. We delivered food packs to all of them during the day. In these tough times we need to take care of everyone around us 😇 From day 1, in total, we have delivered one month ration packs to 319 families.

Today, we received 400 masks from one of our women member’s, who wanted to make a positive impact at a time when we are dealing with a global pandemic. We are really proud of the effort she has put in selflessly. We’ll include these mask in the ration packs for the necessitous

Despite the bad weather and the general lockdown, in the last two days, we reached out to 40 additional families in need with essential ration packs.

In the coming days, apart from providing ration, we’ll also work on providing PPE kits and hand sanitizers to medical staff working in district hospitals and village dispensaries.

In the view of the shortage of PPE kits faced by medical personnel on the frontlines of fight against Covid-19 in #Kashmir, today, we donated 11 PPE kits and 50 masks to SKIMS Medical College, Benmina.
