It always hits home hard when a family member ends up on the receiving side of the NHS in an emergent situation. Lucky to have brought my wonderfully strong Dad home tonight following CABG x 4 at Blackpool Vic and forever grateful to the amazing staff who supported recovery🫀❤️

Today I had the privilege of spending my morning in @BTHTertiary Cardiac Theatres. The team this morning were brilliant and gave me plenty of food for thought. Also Im pleased to say that the patient who underwent very complex surgery is doing well in our CITU @BlackpoolHosp.

It might be a gloriously sunny Saturday but here in the Lancashire Cardiac Centre @BlackpoolHosp we are busy operating on our most urgent & emergency cases, as well as those who have been delayed due to the pandemic... we are here 24 hours a day, 365 days a year if needed.
