@JoeBlow_808 @ReviewsPossum It was mostly the acting that made the dialogue sound good. Star Wars always had a very hard style of dialogue that most actors struggle with unless they're guided by a director who specializes in directing dialogue - which happens to be Lucas' blind spot.

@ReviewsPossum The story was the most redeeming part of the prequels. It was the acting, a bit of the dialogue, and silly characters like Jar Jar that made them bad. The story of how evil rises to power was the best part and pretty realistic. Only morons don't appreciate that.

@ReviewsPossum It's the only arguments that you will ever acknowledge because it's low hanging fruit. There are far more in-depth analyses of the prequels that you will simply refuse to engage with, because doing so requires actual brains. You're starting to morph into Dev in that regard.

There was a vocal minority of people who would've hated the OT when it came out, who went on to hate the prequels. There people found each other through the internet, thank in most part to a coordinated hate campaign by the media. That's ho it started.

@RAZ0RFIST Eh, we did. It wasn't great. Jar Jar Binks, "roger, roger", mideclorins(however you spell it), late 90's cgi, the flaws go on and on. YES, the lightsaber choreography was peak, that's all it really had.
