@BenRand10 If you abandon your wheat, do they appraise the yield and pay you the loss off harvest price? Or do you have to harvest to get the yield loss and paid harvest price?

Producers with MPCI have an obligation to provide a Notice of Loss within 72 hours of discovery of damage. If your HRW is in bad shape, but you're still taking it to harvest, turn in a notice of loss now. Agents can note it is going to harvest. Then when you do have the production loss, the claim is open and ready to be worked with a cause of loss. Why am I harping on this? We have an unprecedented event unfolding in the west. We have catastrophic failure of all kinds of first crops from HRW, oats, dry peas, garbs, etc due to drought. We have, for the first time since 2002, a widespread Prevent Plant on Irrigated Practices unfolding due to failure of irrigation water supplies. These PP claims are extremely laborious to work and get paid. Furthermore, this is widespread. Turning your loss is not only required, but prudent. You help the AIPs address the allocation of adjusters, identify bottle necks, and get put on the list to be appraised if you so desire. Or left off it if you don't need an appraisal. Worst case? We withdraw the claim. No harm, no foul, and it has ZERO affect on your MPCI policy.

@BTrade35 @agtradertalk I think the first US recession blows this thing up because it will tighten the pocket strings of the donors…who knows when that is…

@ckleene @agtradertalk What's funny is I think he made very rational decisions for ISU ath. It's clear they went all-in with Otz and men's bball, which likley left the women high and dry for money. The players all left. It's the right biz decision given women's bball loses money.

@ckleene @agtradertalk I keep thinking the market will sort itself out, but there is irrational love for your alma mater and team. People will spend money that makes no sense. Pay a PG > he is worth in the NBA (if he could even make it). Market can stay irrational longer than most can stay solvent

@ckleene @agtradertalk Wouldn't disagree. The NCAA has always acted that way. Admin seems to think they get to make business decisions but not allow players to. And that's what it is. Pollard would tell someone at WSU it's not personal, it's business, and that's what a player should say to him.

@BTrade35 @agtradertalk I think it’s super hypocritical….because you look at what Pollard and Roger’s did to WSU it’s talking out both sides of their mouth….its BS by Pollard

@ckleene @agtradertalk In this instance, I think both can be right. He's spot on that they shouldn't be given those long-time honors like others. Players will give up that 'forever home' to come back to. But if the money is life changing, the player probably right to take it.

@agtradertalk She is like "I got 1.4 myn I'm good" Also playing the disgruntled wife card as the AD isn't going to help anything. It's reality today. "Don't be sad because it's over, be happy because it happened"

rolex makes objectively good watches, but the brand is so closely associated with a kind of status-obsessed braggart who's constantly assessing other people's social positions that it's hard to get into their watches. spiritually painful.

@CroakerGameDev @dieworkwear I've been looking at Orient and like the Bambino. Really know nothing about watches are what to look for. Wear an Ironman Timex everyday and want something a bit nicer for formal/business occasions.

$ETN chart looks strong if it can break through $400. Kind of a sloppy larger h&s continuation (black) and the right shoulder is a 9-month inverse h&s (red). Part of the $POW ETF, which also looks strong. Siemens Energy in that ETF, too. $SMEGF maybe forming the handle?

So....My Eldest Son been trading alot, been getting into this insane game, learning that options is a con game and been trading the futures of late - He been jumping the Micros on #NQ_F and was doing Brilliantly until....yesterday😃 I let him hang himself.....hes been doing the scalp strategy where if it gets too overbought or over sold he jumps in and goes size. I told him there is going to be a point where that oversold or over bought is going to get even more oversold and over bought. He said meh....it "always" reverses. So ...3 weeks of awesome gains (and I mean he was making some really good bank) was vaporized and a good chunk of his original capital. He was like...I never seen 7 bars off the 30 min go one way. I'm like welcome to Hell....You learned your first lesson....you are not as smart or smarter than the market. You had no respect for the market and this is how it humbles you. Also.....8 months of real experience does not make you an expert.....many more traps to hunt you and you will feel pain (his face went blank). As my many mentors told me - STFU and learn, best way to learn is the hard way and hopefully you learned something today. #Trading

@GoddessofGrain Most don't even understand the circumstances. Demographics will rule this more than degree preferences. That college started in 1965, rode the boom of increased enrollment and now reaping the demographic bust. Degree preference maybe indicating who falls first.

Hey @grok What’s the underrated asset or technology today that could deliver 10x-100x upside by 2030 — like Bitcoin in 2013 — but most people dismiss as hype?
