Only going to post video game stuff (for the most part) on bluesky going forward. Only thing Twitter has going for it for me is the finance scene. Game dev scene on blue sky is just leagues better

Am i dumb for wanting to buy this with size n sit on it for a few years? Feel like $RBLX as a company just has such a larger user base, that at some point... the data alone is worth more than anything else. It is at a 33B marketcap, which ya thats concerning. But dog wif hat was 1/11th of it, and all we did was get a picture... of a dog in a hat... They've beat earnings the last 3 quarters. People are spending more time online. They are conscious of the userbase being younger and trying to tailor to an older audience. Idk, prolly gonna start to nibble on shares.

@PMB28593434 @BTrade35 @dieworkwear Yeah that's a solid point (take for instance the Venezianico that has pre-orders going on right now) Nothing to prove this but I almost wonder if microbrands on sites like AliExpress have completely swallowed up that price segment

@CroakerGameDev @BTrade35 @dieworkwear A lot of micro brands that used to be around those price ranges have pushed on a bit too. Lorier being one of them. They make a good watch for the price.

rolex makes objectively good watches, but the brand is so closely associated with a kind of status-obsessed braggart who's constantly assessing other people's social positions that it's hard to get into their watches. spiritually painful.

@BTrade35 @CroakerGameDev @dieworkwear I really like the new Casio automatics. First time in their history of making a mechanical watch. Great specs for the price and good build quality and look nice imo. If Casio decide against pursuing the mechanical lines in future they could become a collectors item.

@BTrade35 @CroakerGameDev @dieworkwear You get more value with micro brands in those $300 price ranges. Bambino is solid for a choice. It's a straight up dress watch though. If you plan on having just 1 watch I'd get a sports watch on steel bracelet and a leather band. Then you can swap them out and change the style.

the most similiar anime to me is spice and wolf (i've only watched the original) and spice and wolf completely clears this in my book - much better voice actors, superior music, wittier banter, deeper characterization of the main characters and far better character development
