@VigilantFox Taxes are a scam used by our gov to curb our personal financial growth. We cant even pay for a house outright.. every year youre expected to pay for a portion of that house again. You earn money, get taxed, spend that same money, get taxed again, and on and on and on..

This is a VERY BIG storm. Not good at all and so early in the season...hopefully it doesnt touch us in Cayman but too early to tell. Stay safe my Caribbean friends.

The median monthly mortgage payment is up 78% since 2021 to $2894.
Plus insurance + property taxes + pmi + down payment x 360 months.
So what does our president Joe Biden propose? A $5000 tax credit.
Do the math Joe?
Mortgage $35,000
Insurance/year = $5000
Prop Taxes = $5000
PMI = $8000
Total $53,000
30yr $1,590,000
And that assumes no increases in taxes or insurance or maintenance on the house.
Is Joe dumb or does he just think his constituents are? Or maybe this is simply the problem with career politicians who have never actually paid bills, run a budget or managed their own money?

The middle class pay most of the taxes in America because they simply don’t play the game the way the wealthy do.
If you want to reduce your tax bill quit complaining & copy the moves of the wealthy.
1) The wealthy don’t earn wages they get paid in assets.
Salaries for:
Warren Buffett $100,000
Jeff Bezos $ 81,840
Mark Zuckerberg $ 1
2) They don’t buy houses they invest in companies.
3) They use debt to buy assets not liabilities.
4) They aren’t consumers they sell to consumers.
5) They don’t buy into the stock market schemes like Ira/401k & mutual funds. They sell stocks to Wall Street.
