Since being recognized as an official heritage month by President Ford in 1976, there has been a theme established each year for Black History Month. The 2024 theme is African Americans' influence on the arts in the US.

We are so proud of our students who competed in the Port Authority Student Robotics Competition hosted by @PANYNJ at the One World Trade observatory this week. The students created a robot to improve the Lincoln Tunnel commute 👏🏼🤖 🏙️ @belleville_ps @MrRhodesBHS @BellevilleSuper

As we monitor the impending winter storm set to impact @belleville_ps tomorrow morning, all schools will operate on a single-session schedule 1/19. We will continue to monitor the weather and if there is a need to close schools a notification will be sent early tomorrow morning.

Today BHS had the privilege to host Egyptologist, Dr. Chris Nauton. This opportunity was made possible by Mr. Dubuque and Ms. Conway’s classes who worked with Dr. Naunton research for TUT WEEK. This was his 1st US school visit & lecture. Thank You @chrisnaunton 📜⚱️🐪 🙌🏽
