Memo that my grandfather, and grandmother earned. American’s have always had to work really hard to get ahead, he did it, I’ll do it, so it goes. On and on. On numerous occasions she says, he worked 16+ hour days 6-7 days a week. He was a chemist, but held several important patents, invented, and built. Yes we need better wages, fair reward, but we need to work as hard as our elders did to improve it for the next generation.

@GadSaad Elon’s a great humanitarian. Denying that is a litmus test for me if someone’s overly propagandized mentally. “Oh man he’s terrible.” “Why?” “Well you know…”

@lsferguson Who holds the money terminals? Someone has software that issues the 0 to a 1. Remove that ability but we need a new congress.

The grey cliff has removed so many items from the market for so long they’re detached. This is why a massive gap between homes for sell (1.9m) and prospective buyers (1.3m) will widen. Plenty of homes. None in price range. Eventually it corrects. It’s propped up by blind eyes at a systemic level.

A lot of housing prices make no sense anymore. Not “a little high.” Completely detached from local incomes. $500K homes in towns where people make $60K. That’s not a market. That’s delusion.

My wife has acquired another goat. This is goat number three. She tells me that three goats will be enough but I’m starting to be skeptical. I have become a full time goat herder. This is who I am now. It has always been my fate. There’s no escaping it.

Small businesses are the backbone of the American economy, and the Trump administration is fighting for Main Street. President Trump honors hardworking small business owners at the White House. 🇺🇸

Jill is 100% correct. we should absolutely evaluate, test and check-on home-school kids. if they are not performing at least as well as the worst kid in a public school then they should face the same consequences as a public school with similar performance. so, to take an example, 23 schools in Baltimore have zero children scoring proficient in math. Because of that, those schools have faced the consequence of getting extra funding. thus, if a homeschooler is found to have performance that bad or worse, they should also be given extra funding, I guess.

Right, if homeschooling is actually super high quality, then homeschooling families should not object to being evaluated, tested, and checked-in-on to make sure their kids are actually learning.

@PalmerLuckey @darkacademician Who’s gonna come check at any rate? That’s just pointing out another problem. The arbiters from the failing Rockefeller systems? Other parents? State sponsored appointees? An who sets the bar as for what each family wants to even learn or upholds as valuable?

kids in regulated schools aren’t learning enough, so obviously the answer is to create an unregulated zone where nobody checks if they learn at all. airtight

Buddy, American public school districts routinely churn out hordes of students that cannot do basic algebra or reading by 12th grade. The typical student actually gains *zero* mathematical knowledge after 8th grade. Schools are already failing.

Bill and Bob knew their farm needed a modern shop, but they needed a smart way to pay for it. A 10-year lease with Farm Credit Mid-America kept payments low and capital free. Now, they have the shop they need to continue their four-generation legacy. 👉 bit.ly/3QDUqGB

I’m coming to the conclusion that the biggest challenge for Enterprise AI, and AI in general , as of now, is that it’s still impossible to make sure that everyone gets the same answer to the same question, every time. Which is a great response to the doomers. AI doesn’t know the consequences of its output. Judgement and the ability to challenge AI output is becoming increasingly necessary, and valuable. Which makes domain knowledge more valuable by the second. Am I wrong ?

@RepThomasMassie @SecRollins Still takes 120-200 days to access any FSA farm expansion loans. Major competitive issue when other government will bankroll land here immediately. 30 days or pre funded to come.

The facts are clear: America’s beef cattle herd is at its lowest level since the 1950s. As of January 1, we have just 27.6 million head of beef cows. Over the past decade alone, we’ve lost more than 17% of our cattle ranchers, with over 100,000 ranches disappearing across the country. This is the reality we inherited — driven by the radical left’s climate alarmism, years of drought, wildfires, market volatility, and overregulation. @POTUS and this administration are committed to reversing that trend — strengthening the American beef industry, supporting our ranchers, and preserving this way of life for the next generation. 🇺🇸🥩

These anti-homeschool arguments always compare homeschooling to to a perfectly functioning public school system that only exists in their imagination. Meanwhile in the real world, 54% of American adults read below a 6th grade level.

@TheJoeySwoll What’s wrong with 39 minutes on the treadmill? I’m so confused. Anything over 20 min with sustained heart rate is cardio. Even cleaning your house. Bc of the reaction that takes place and it makes your heart become stronger tomorrow. So 39 minutes is a really good amount.

Anyone assuming they’re wise enough to be the arbiter for all regions nationally is the issue imo. What does any single metropolis know about life in all areas? Amish don’t need physics. They’re happy. Einstein was a late talker and despised rote memorization. Republic distributed systems built for the region and its development are wise, into a free market with what each region demands. The more localized it is the better. Commonalities like national defense, connected interstates, those are fine but that’s bc most of us have the wisdom to understand what it is, cost, value.

@chrisman Ask them what the consequences should be for homeschooling parents who fail to educate children. Then ask what the consequences should be for public schools that do the same. The difference in answers is the game.
