@GetOnTap The orange is and has only ever been the New River Valley; not Shenandoah.

@bk24hurst Never heard of the Blue Ridge, but this isn’t geographical it’s cultural. Yes all of that encompasses southwest Virginia, but everything Smyth/Tazewell and west is different culturally than everything east of there.

@GetOnTap Not southern Shenandoah. The orange and red are called the Blue Ridge. We are also called Southwest Virginia together. Excluding Roanoke.

@W1llHerman I think Bland/Wythe/Grayson should group with Giles/Pulaski/Carrol to form a New River region. Then move Bedford/Botetourt/Alleghany into the Blue Ridge (Southern Shenandoah on this map) and it’s pretty spot on

@GetOnTap I could quibble with a county or two, but it’s pretty accurate overall.

@SimonKatz13 This isn’t based on geography it’s based off cultural aspects, and it’s not mine. I just shared it. It needs some work but it’s close

@GetOnTap The Blue Ridge Mountains (not Foothills) run north/south and The Piedmont is east of that not the blocks you made here.

I’m a b*tch and a c*nt for… checks notes… knowing that “black food” and Southern food is the same exact thing. Good times. I’m done with X for the night. Sweet dreams, y’all!

Looking for a unique restaurant that serves AMAZING food? 🤔 My hometown of Canton, North Carolina has a restaurant called The Black Bear Cafe. Its theme? The Pisgah Bears. That’s right: It’s 100% themed around our high school football team! It might be the only restaurant like it in the world. And the food? Out of this world! I’m not kidding when I say I’ve never had a bad meal there. ❤️🖤

Edelweiss Restaurant about 20 mins north of Lexington and has great German food/beer. Very old school feel, one of my favorites. Honestly haven’t eaten/drank at a ton of places in Lexington like that, but it’s a college town so I know they have some good options. For nostalgia the Pink Cadillac Diner between 81 and Lexington is neat, 50s/Elvis theme & aesthetics, and Kenny’s fried chicken is 🔥🔥. Restaurant at the Peaks of Otter lodge is really good, beautiful view. Honestly if you’re willing to go to Lexington, there are some great spots here in Rocky Mount. Have The Porch and Voo Doo lounge which is my wife and my favorite spot. Ippys is also worth the trip. Only place you can get a nice sit down dinner, low lit, cloth napkins spot then go get in a fight in the bar through the double doors🤣 Anastasia’s Speakeasy is really cool. Awesome drink selection, and you enter through a fake barbershop with a hidden door to get in
