@ECloskyWTSP Our guys look dead out there and it’s most of the Olympic guys. Hedman rushing back to play in the outdoor game and then Olympics was bad long term for the team. Cernak can never stay healthy at this time of year. They are leaving Vasi out to dry since the break.

The Lightning didn't have Cernak or Raddysh tonight. Lilleberg is still on the shelf. In a vacuum, I get it defensively. Having said that, this was a truly an embarrassing game from Tampa Bay. The Blue Jackets are on the 2nd end of a back-to-back and worked TBL on home ice.

The 20-1-1 streak was an incredible run, but we all knew it wouldn't be sustained forever. Out of the Olympic break (1-3-0), the team looks eerily similar to how they started the season (1-4-2). The defensive structure looks loose and evident by allowing 15 goals (excluding an ENG) in the last 3 games. I'd be way more concerned if they were playing sound hockey and still losing. Fix the defensive play and the wins will start to pile up again. Buffalo and Detroit are close behind, but the Bolts built up a cushion and still have multiple games in hand on both. Turn those into points.
