Luka is never winning MVP.
He’s about to have a SCORING TITLE while being TOP 10 in steals and assists while leading a team that was missing Bron and AR for 48 GAMES to a 3 seed.
Yet people are finding more reasons NOT to give Luka the MVP than TO give Luka the MVP.

The best coaches are the ones who are secure enough to sit in a room, be the least experienced person there, and soak up every single thing being said without feeling the need to prove they already knew it. That is the most disciplined form of humility a leader can practice, the willingness to learn. This is exactly what separates the coaches who grow from the ones who just get older.

Colin Simmons told us this AM that he was able to move his mom from DFW to Austin last year. His younger brother, Clayton (11), has autism and Simmons said there are better resources available for him here.
That was his “why” for years. Simmons is contemplating his next one.

In 2021, i had to coach throws at Nimitz and i didn’t know anything. I spend a weekend watching YouTube and i got my girl to regional. Each year, i learn something new. Kids buy in when they see that you care. It’s not hard to show that you care .

IT IS NOT THE EXPERIENCED THROWERS' JOB TO TRAIN OTHER THROWERS! If coaching throws is your "second sport", STOP BEING LAZY AND LEARN THE EVENTS! There are too many resources for you to not know how to coach the fundamentals. Put the energy drinks down & coach your kids.
