@B_Honest_Boxing

Boxing Books and boxing opinion. I notice a lot of tweeters quote a verse from the bible. I like this one: John 8:7. So apt for this day and age

@BrettNa70273495 @RobTebbutt Agree (with almost everything) there. I do not think Opetaia is best and think Bena will beat him up. That aside you are right. Zuffa need to make that fight now or they will look as silly as many already think they are.

Jai went to Zuffa largely because he couldn't get a look in. Zurdo sat on a couple of belts, avoiding Opetaia at all costs. CBS avoided Opetaia for an easier pathway also. While Opetaia is clearly the best in the division, has been active and willing to fight anyone, anywhere, anytime. Zuffa has been around 5 minutes, so it's hard to say what Jai's signing with them will mean exactly but if they block the best opportunities for him when they may finally present themselves it will surely stunt their growth and see any top talent far less inclined to sign with them in the near future.

David Benavidez on fighting Jai Opetaia: “I think that’s the biggest fight in the world at this weight. That’s definitely a fight that I want… if he wants that fight, we can make that fight… [but] I’m not going to go there to fight for a Zuffa title.” #BenavidezZurdo

@MonteroOnBoxing Hahaaa I see what you did there But it has to be Opetaia. One of them needs to unify all the belts before moving up to heavyweight

@thealbertbaker So you're good with Opetaia vs Benavidez never happening because you don't like Dana White? Fair enough, but I expect (want) fighters to call out the best, regardless of politics. Hopefully Turki can find a way to make that fight happen. Money talks.

I tell you what, I’d watch the fuck out of David Benavidez vs Artur Beterbiev at cruiserweight.

@Fade_Cob2 And a couple of rounds every 6 months is? We all now fighters will not do it like previous decades but for a relatively untested, still up-and-coming fighter to be fighting so infrequently is total bollocks. Ya know it mate.

Usyk and Inoue both will lose to Itauma and Bam respectively over the next year to 18 months imo. Both have their number

… and just like that, David Benavidez vs Jai Opetaia is one of the best fights in the sport. #BenavidezZurdo

@ThrillBoxing If he gets one at 126 (and there are some tough fights there) he will obviously go for more. It's in his DNA

@brandon_ray47 Eddie Hearn will definitely try to 'age out' Inoue While pretending he is screaming for that fight and how it is the ONLY fight we need to see etc etc bla bla bla. Hopefully Inoue tries his luck at featherweight

Perhaps I'm only focusing on the negative, but there seems to be a lot of people on this app who keep waiting around for Inoue to lose, so they can have a "gotcha" moment. Why are so many against him? Is it mainly bc they can't catch his fights live, due to the time difference?

@Fade_Cob2 So? So he is just not experienced enough for Usyk. I want to see that fight before Usyk is too old or not really up for it. But Itauma needs to fight up a few levels first anyway. Why isn't he fighting every month? Like Tyson was before he got a title shot

Idk about that. Morales and Barrera were two elites. So were Pacquiao and Marquez. It was a high level chess match, and it was tense with high stakes. But it ultimately didn’t deliver the fight we hoped for IMO. #Boxing

@Sean_Zittel This happens when two elites fight. Happens often actually
