Military Appreciation Month - I THANK you ALL for your service, dedication, sacrifice and love of country. This freedom we are blessed with doesn't come free at all. It was created and maintained by those who elected to protect this land and its people against all enemies. They deserve our unconditional support and respect. In my life, several whom served made this hugest impact on my life. They displayed discipline, loyalty and care of others. 1st my Grandfather who helped raise me- Army service. He was the constant, the one who provided for us and never complained, he loved honestly and openly. He took us on fishing trips to Canada, boating at the lake with more fishing, took us to baseball games with a thremos of homemade lemonade and taught us all to show up for others. If he could lend a hand, he did it and was honored to. He was my first hero and bff and I miss him every single second since he passed. 2nd - Harry Hunter, Vietnam Vet- Harry came into my life in a time of turmoil. My parents had recently divorced and my mom remarried a horrible, abusive man. Harry lived next door and I became friends with his daughter. We were both an only child and our bond was instant. My stepdad was a loser drug addict who wouldn't work. When he was out of money for drugs he would scream at my mom and I, throw things at us and sell off whatever he could. One night, he was in a rage and came after me. I left and went next door. The next morning my stepdad was outside screaming to tell me to get back home. Harry kindly informed him that he was a vietnam vet suffering from PTSD and he would permanently silence him, and that I was never coming back there. Harry and his wife from that day on, took me in and treated me as their own. My Dad worked out of town a lot and agreed to let me stay with them. That man stood for me and anyone he felt was being mistreated. I gained adopted parents and life lessons you can't learn in school. Thank you to our troops- past, present & future.

Whenever I see the lefty legal beagles -- and some on the right as well -- complain about abuses by the Trump DOJ in pursuing someone like Jim Comey, I always think of @MichaelRCaputo and his family. The Mueller investigation cost him hundreds of thousands of dollars in legal fees. He was forced to leave his longtime home in Buffalo and move to Florida for the safety of his young daughters. His professional life built up after 30 years of hard work was destroyed. And Mike is just one of dozens or hundreds of people that the hyper-partisans left-overs of the Obama Admin., and later members of the Biden Admin, destroyed financially in an investigation they KNEW WAS A BASELESS HOAX. So, save me your tears of Jim Comey and some others being "abused" by the Trump DOJ. Todd Blanche didn't make the rules.

It's so infuriating. I know of a case in Columbus where a career criminal was released from jail, within 6 months was charged for 2 violent crimes, 1 a shooting and was put on house arrest awaiting trials- he then removes his ankle monitor is out and about shooting up houses on a facebook live, and encouraged a large fight between 2 girls and both ended up dead. NONE of it needed to happen. Our communities are drenched with danger.

This dude had 33 previous convictions before this. How in the world was he out on the streets? Judges who let these types of people back into society unleash havoc on our communities. But those judges and their kids probably don’t live where I live.
