Assembly Curated launched as the first curated fine art photography NFT platform in 2021. Today, Assembly is pleased to share that we have significantly expanded The Assembly Collection. We see this as further strengthening our resolve to champion photography NFTs, and continue our commitment as stewards of artworks by some of the most important and innovative artists working at the intersection of photography and blockchain technology. This expands upon and further underscores our vision for photography to grow as a central and essential medium within the art NFT space and art world at large. As the adoption and appreciation of digital assets grows, including natively digital art forms, we see interest in photographic works as collectible art, historical, and cultural artifacts to become increasingly more meaningful, sought-after, and valuable. The Assembly Collection now consists of 150+ fine art photography NFTs, as acquired from 2021 to the present. We want to do a web1 project coming from web3. Translation: we want to do a book about a collection from people that got together because of NFTs The book will be about the interpretation of a Fernando Pessoa poem, Portuguese Sea. It's a poem I chose since it is one that describes the Portuguese soul the best. A poem that every portuguese citizen will now. How cool is to have people from Armenia, Japan, Austrália, UK, Belgium, Brazil or US reading those verses and try to make them theirs? That's what we've done with the Portuguese Sea collection and ultimately with the book. Artists donated the photo for this experiment and we will finance the book by the sell of the 1/1 photos. Each artists presented the curation panel (members of the @B_side_NFT community) 3-5 pieces of art and 1 chosen to the collection present here: foundation.app/world/portugue… This collection is made by known artists like @halecar2, @a1111ac011d0, @mariafynsknorup, @Isarusphoto or @3131mateo as an example but you can find others that probably never crossed your timeline like @h_khachatrian, @LastLeafAutumn or @klunk22 In total 27 artists pursuing this experiment and experience. Collectors like @1centWhale or @LordTruffington already joined the ride. I hope you can find it interesting and join us on this adventure of trying to build things from web3 to the world
