FREE MALAM Nasir El-Rufai NOW!
We stand firmly and unapologetically with our leader. This moment is not just about one man, it is about justice, fairness, and the future of our nation. The continued detention of Malam El-Rufai is deeply painful and unacceptable.
A man who has dedicated his life to service, development, and the progress of Nigeria does not deserve to be treated this way. This is not leadership, this is not justice.
We, his supporters, cannot sleep, cannot eat, and cannot find peace knowing that a leader we believe in is being treated unjustly. Our voices will not be silenced.
We call on the authorities: RELEASE MALAM EL-RUFAI IMMEDIATELY.
Nigeria belongs to all of us, and justice must never be selective. We remain loyal, we remain strong, and we remain fully behind our leader today and always.

If you are a member or supporter of ADC, and your reason for being in ADC is to support Mallam Nasir El-Rufai, then this is the time to stop being shy.
I believe that shyness is exactly what is holding us back.
We should come out boldly, loudly, and unapologetically to demand a Mallam Nasir El-Rufai presidential ticket.
Because Wallahi, you and I know that nobody in that coalition today is as qualified, as competent, as courageous, and as nationally prepared as he is.
This is not the time for whispers behind closed doors.
This is the time for a clear and united voice.

The subsidy is gone. The suffering doubled. The savings disappeared. We are borrowing billions in the same breath we claim to be saving trillions. Someone needs to account for the mathematics of this government.

PRESS RELEASE:
EL-RUFAI: LONG ADJOURNMENT LENDS CREDENCE TO OPPOSITION CLAIM OF POLITICAL MOTIVATION – MURIC
The case involving former governor of Kaduna State, Mallam Nasir El-Rufai, was on Tuesday adjourned till the first week of June, 2026.
Commenting on the development, an Islamic human rights organization, the Muslim Rights Concern (MURIC) said the long adjournment lends credence to opposition claim of political motivation.
This was the crux of a statement circulated to newsmen on Thursday, 23rd April, 2026 by the Executive Director of the human rights organization, Professor Ishaq Akintola.
The statement reads:
"The case involving former governor of Kaduna State, Mallam Nasir El-Rufai, came up before Justice Darius Khobo of the Kaduna State High Court on Tuesday, 21st April, 2026. However, the learned judge adjourned the bail hearing to the first week of June, 2026 (www-channelstv-com.cdn.ampproject.org/v/s/www.channe…).
"While we respect pronouncements made in the temple of justice and we believe that the law must be allowed to follow its due process, the long adjournment of El-Rufai's case in a bailable offence lends credence to opposition claim of political motivation.
“Neither does the cassu belli put forward by the learned judge hold any water. According to NaijaNews, Justice Darius Khobo held that ‘it was in the interest of justice for the defendant to remain in custody to ensure his availability for trial’ (#google_vignette" target="_blank" rel="nofollow noopener">naijanews.com/2026/04/23/el-…).
“It is on record that El-Rufai willingly presented himself to the EFCC ab initio (independent.ng/el-rufai-honou…). Not only that, he also went back voluntarily into custody from home without any prompting at the end of his mother’s burial rites. There was no report of any ICPC raid on his house before he went back. (vanguardngr.com/2026/03/el-ruf…).
“Above all, it will also be recalled that El-Rufai was outside the country when EFCC invited him. Instead of remaining there to seek political asylum, he elected to return home to face the charges and he notified EFCC of the date he would report. Besides, he has no past record of jumping bail. So why is he being kept in custody? (businessday.ng/news/article/e…).
"Concerning the duration of his detention, it will be recalled that Mallam Nasir El-Rufai willingly reported himself at the office of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) on 16th February, 2026. He was transferred to the office of the Independent Corrupt Practices and Other Related Offences Commission (ICPC) three days later to face multiple charges.
"El-Rufai has therefore been in detention since Monday, 16th February, 2026 and he had already spent approximately two months (if the number of days he spent burying his mother is removed) by 21st April, 2026 when the learned judge denied him bail.
"By implication, El-Rufai would have spent approximately three and a half months by the time the bail application comes up again in the first week of June 2026.
"Politicians facing corruption charges in Nigeria often spend between a few days to several weeks in ICPC detention. But that of the former governor of Kaduna is now drifting into months. El-Rufai is therefore being projected as probably the longest serving detained politician going by his expected stay in custody until the first week in June, 2026.
"The question being raised in the opposition camp is what else constitutes political witch-hunt if this does not?
"We reiterate our commitment to justice running its due course but we should not be given the impression that some people can be forgotten behind bars. Democracy loses its essence where the wheels of justice are forced to run at snail speed or where they totally grind to a halt. Justice delayed is justice denied. Let El-Rufai go."

Founder/Executive Director,
Muslim Rights Concern (MURIC).

POLITICAL PERSECUTION DISGUISED AS JUSTICE
Let’s be honest, this whole thing is looking suspicious. Going after Mallam Nasir @ElRufai with anonymous witnesses and secret testimony does not inspire confidence, it raises questions. If there is a genuine case, why all the secrecy?
This is why many people believe this is more political than legal. You cannot claim transparency while hiding witnesses from the public in a case involving a major political figure. It starts to look like an attempt to weaken or intimidate someone because of his political stance.
Love him or hate him, El-Rufai has been one of the few politicians who speaks his mind without fear. You may disagree with him, but using state institutions in a way that appears selective should concern everyone. Today it is him, tomorrow it could be anyone seen as inconvenient.
Justice is supposed to be open and fair, not something wrapped in secrecy. Nigerians are not fools, we can tell when something feels off. If there is evidence, bring it and let the court decide in the open.
This is bigger than El-Rufai. It is about protecting the rule of law and resisting any attempt to turn the justices system into a political weapon.

I am pleased to announce that our dear institution and football team, @Ranchers_Bees has gained promotion to the Nigerian Professional Football League. Indeed, this symbolises ‘a rebirth of a legacy, the reward for belief and the beginning of a new chapter. Despite the challenges associated with the growth of Nigeria’s Sports Industry, we have collective strived to elevate a historic institution while providing a more positive alternative for young people. As the Member representing the wonderful of people of Kaduna North, this has been a privilege I will never forget. We will always encourage passionate youth to venture into sports, entrepreneurship in order to avoid falling victims to the unemployment trap that leads to thuggery, banditry, cybercrimes and other nefarious activities. I must extend my gratitude to the management of the team, the entire staff under the able leadership of our amiable President, Nura Mohammed, my friend and the Chairman of the Kaduna State Football Association, Faisal Abdullahi @FaisalTozo. But most of the credit must go to our majority owner, a gentleman, a compassionate leader, an marvellous football player and a patriotic Nigerian, @Sadiq_Umar19 of @ValenciaCF_EN. Personally, sports was the only area I was yet to touch, I am proud to say we have now. It is fulfilling. By the grace of God, I will be meeting the entire team in the coming days for Jika Hanta purposes. Thank you.

I grew up supporting this football club, it is a historic and traditional team in Nigerian football. The club has a rich, storied past, after facing financial difficulties, a 2009 banishment to different cities due to fans behavior, and a long 18-year period in lower divisions, the club has secured promotion back to the Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) for the 2026/27 season under the new ownership of super eagles striker Sadiq Umar & Bello Elrufai. Congratulations, Kaduna state.
