@HigherGround82 @DanLauzon @imgrund @fordnation @Sflecce Agree that once grades are in, the plug should be pulled. It's just hard to justify taking kids out of school altogether when learning is still going on. It puts parents in a difficult position.

So many parents have already removed their kids from classes. A parent should go ahead and make that decision if they need to for their child.

Six hours; 14,000 votes. 3 to 1 in favour of not opening up schools. I can’t see @fordnation, @Sflecce and cabinet opening up schools with this much of a majority in support of keeping them closed. Time to start planning for a safe September.

@HigherGround82 @DanLauzon @imgrund @fordnation @Sflecce I don't believe that it's safe to send kids back for the record. But maybe throw us a bone and start summer vacation a bit early. This disproportionately affects working moms and I believe it's unfair.

It's exhausting. I've been doing it all day today.

@revdrduke @marklewismd My answer to this would be no, at least not a universally accepted one. Agree entirely with @marklewismd and with the idea that there is too much variability in patient tolerance to define according to the standard NCI grading.

@miramaximos @Boghuma The last paragraph, I think, is the most important one. Herd immunity doesn't matter that much as long as we can prevent hospitalization and death. The question is whether infection and/or immunization will do this long term. There are encouraging signs that they will.
