Agreed. It’s a mess. He should have stayed an Astro but he won’t. It’s all downhill. Prob the allure of playing for the cubs or Red Sox is more attractive but it all comes down to $30 AAV which Houston won’t pay

So biggest updates/changes in the #Astros Bregman news today: - Houston hasnt budged from its 6/156 offer, and it was a 'take it or leave it' offer - Houston may not have officially put the offer back on the table - #Tigers have an offer that is either 5 or 6 years on table - #BlueJays have a 6 yr offer on table, but Bregman reticent to play there - #Cubs are hoping Bregman will change his mind on a shorter term deal - #RedSox willing to go 4 years - Bregman doesnt want to make lower AAV than the $28.5M he made the last 2 seasons in Houston and that $2M per is a sticking point in Astros negotiations - Bregman reportedly feels its a 'long shot' to be back in Houston
