@icecrackpipe @TomBradyEgo @Broncos4six The loser always resorts to personal attacks when they’ve lost and have no substantive response. It’s why it’s so easy to identify them/you.
English

@BadBanjoer @TomBradyEgo @Broncos4six I get that you want to suck elway off, but just because you idolize him doesn’t mean was great lol. He’s an even worse person in real life
English

@icecrackpipe @TomBradyEgo @Broncos4six The guy retired as the winningest QB of all time, second all time in passing yards, most fourth quarter comebacks. And we covered back to back SB champs, one with a MVP after leading three mediocre teams to the SB. Manning was fantastic, but his Broncos resume is not greater.
English

@BadBanjoer @TomBradyEgo @Broncos4six John relay never threw over 25 TDs in a season. Always had INT problems too.
English

@Fabio_Gallegos @TomBradyEgo Could you explain? Little was just a bit before my time, although growing up the older guys always had a lot of respect for him.
English

@TomBradyEgo In reality, Floyd little needs to be on that first tier. He's the whole reason the Broncos are still in Denver.
English

@icecrackpipe @TomBradyEgo @Broncos4six Elway was SB MVP in his last game… Compare to Peyton’s two SBs with the Broncos, neither of which were remotely impressive from an individual performance perspective, to put it gently.
English

@TomBradyEgo @Broncos4six Peyton manning broke records that still stand today on our team. John Elway lost 3 SBs and wasn’t really great in their SB wins
English

@AlextheMiller @RealSpitfire Yes, this. A small squad of gunmen from a hostile power would have obliterated these fools and moved on to the actual target.
Thankfully we aren’t in any serious conflict with any hostile power who likely has agents in the DC area and a history of killing Americans…
English

@RealSpitfire The secret service wins the numbers game and that’s it. ANY 11 humans standing there with guns would have stopped 1 guy.
Anything serious and they’d be in deep trouble. Yet still you’ll hear “the secret service did amazing work”

@knuckleheadnig @whinemoreplease @_Hippie_Gang_ @MLFootball There is actually a pension: nflpa.com/active-players…
But…yeah, that’s not gonna be enough to live on unless you play for over a decade or so. Better
Be smart about those earning years.
English

@whinemoreplease @_Hippie_Gang_ @MLFootball It is his fault. Depreciating merchandise for unappreciative women is retarded. Dudes don’t realize how fast sports money drys up once you stop playing or get hurt. There’s no pension or retirement benefits for ball players.

🚨🚨THIS IS INSANE🚨🚨
#Chiefs 29th overall pick Peter Woods purchased multiple Maserati SUVs for his mother & sister last night after he was drafted.
Woods spent $200,000+ on the cars.

@backwoods113 @JomboyMedia Snow in April in Denver is not at all rare. Weather is weird! I golfed nine holes this morning before the snow started!

@JomboyMedia How can that be happening now. Mother Nature is not pleased

@DewdSaid @UnseriousDude_ @mikeumd98 @nut_history If a guy does a cheap foul and he is then taken down in retaliation, you bet people cheer. Clutch them pearls harder.
English

Hockey fights don’t include taking off their padding and doing a slap shot to the body. Miss me with your false equivalency. And “hard fouls” in basketball? If a basketball player slammed a guy down from a dangerou position, fans don’t cheer that on as a whole or at least it’s not excused with “well he had it coming. Did you see him nudge the guy out of bounds? That’s bush league”
You guys are clowns
English

@UnseriousDude_ @DewdSaid @mikeumd98 @nut_history You skipped over the substantive portion of my comment. Give it a go and let’s see where this goes.
Do you think he *precisely* timed the swipe for when the ball was *already* in the glove or not? I say obviously no.
English

@BadBanjoer @DewdSaid @mikeumd98 @nut_history When they have no real argument, they go after the handle.
They do not have anything to do with each other. No cogent argument in that regard can be made.

Not at all accurate. Not even close. SSI has a 50% clawback rate on earned income and a 100% clawback rate on unearned income. SNAP has a 30% clawback rate. Those rates stack. Someone with SSI and SNAP loses 80 cents for every dollar they earn. That's an 80% tax rate.
Would most people accept a job that pays $10 an hour if they got to keep $2 an hour?
With universal basic income, there is no clawback on that money. If the UBI is $1000 a month and someone is offered a job that pays $1000 a month, that person would then have a gross income before taxes of $2000.
Welfare doesn't work that way. Welfare functions as a ceiling. It actively discourages work. UBI functions as a floor. All income earned with UBI always leaves someone better off.
These are not the same.
It is not "pretty accurate" to say these are the same.

@theceoffice @bitchuneedsoap How do you mean it’s a myth? There are countless examples of it happening. (I’ve seen it.)
English

Training their replacement is NEVER the employee’s responsibility. Management should have a system in place for training. If they don’t, that’s on them for being unprepared.
Training your replacement is a professional myth that people have bought into. 😞
This is completely different than mentoring someone for succession where it’s mutually beneficial.
English

In 2015, Disney called 250 IT workers into a meeting.
They thought they were getting bonuses.
Disney told them they were being replaced by workers flown in from India on H-1B visas, and if they didn't spend the next 90 days training those replacements, they'd lose their severance.
Leo Perrero testified before Congress about it. Appeared on 60 Minutes.
"Someone was flown in from another country to sit at my same desk and take over what I was doing. It was the most humiliating thing I've ever gone through in my life."
Two workers sued Disney, HCL, and Cognizant for colluding to illegally displace American workers.
Courts dismissed it. Disney Magic.

Y'all always have to throw this in, don't you? What do you think this disclaimer accomplishes?

This is a message to the center-Left. I'm assuming it still exists.
Following the assassination of Charlie Kirk, you guys may be the only faction in American politics who can move to prevent a hot civil war from happening.
Because the hard Left is doubling down. They're creating a myth that Tyler Robinson was a right-winger who shot another right-winger for being insufficiently right-wing; never mind that this doesn't make any goddamn sense. They're still dancing in Charlie Kirk's blood while they do this.
Conservatives (I'm not one of them, but I can see them from here) are furious. Many think the second American civil war has already begun, waged as a stochastic-terror campaign of assassination attempts against prominent Republicans.
After the shooting of Steve Scalise, two attempts on Donald Trump's life, and now the killing of Charlie Kirk in front of his wife and family, that's an increasingly difficult proposition for me to argue against.
It's being said that the bullet that went through Charlie's neck killed the moderate Right. I fear this is true. Public alliances are now being made between mainstream-Right leaders and some rather grotesque hard-Right types that I devoutly hoped would never gain much influence.
I can't really expect the Right to calm down, and the hard Left clearly thinks its ends are served by escalating the violence. That leaves only liberal moderates as the only people with the ability to turn down the temperature.
You can do it by joining in the public morning for Charlie Kirk. I didn't like him much myself, and I don't expect you to either. But he died for free expression, and we need to honor him for that. Also, assassination needs to be taken off the table as a political tactic.
That means that you're going to need to break with the hard Left. Don't buy the myth. Denounce Antifa terrorism. Withdraw your support from Democratic politicians who celebrate and excuse assassination. And all that begins, symbolically, with mourning Charlie Kirk as a hero who died for all of us. All of us!
I know this is difficult, but the price of not doing it may literally be that this country turns into Bosnia - neighbor set against neighbor in an ugly low-level war that will simmer for years, accumulating atrocities on both sides.
I love my country, I don't want to see this happen. Please. Wake up and do the right thing.

@nanoha1995 @BlueCheckDenied @elonmusk This explosion was expected/planned, IIRC. Recent ones less so, but none were expected to actually land intact yet.
Still test phase and this one appears to have gotten tons of good data and is one of the last of its type before the newer ones start being tested. Progress!
English

@BlueCheckDenied @elonmusk Seeing these tests is both exciting and confusing, do you know if explosions are expected as part of learning, or are they unexpected failures slowing the progress overall?
