@harrylitman I dunno. I have seen arraignments of poor, mentally ill, downtrodden people, and they get horrible treatment. Solitary confinement, leg irons & cuffs, ppl that never hurt anyone & never had a preliminary hearing. What Trump and his criminal associates get away w/ is atrocious.

Yes the 200k is not "significant" measured by Trump's wealth. But it represents a judgment, not made so far in the other cases, that he can't be trusted to show up based on just his own word. That's quite a statement about a former president and it's what I mean by "indignity."
