OK first off, we should’ve learned from the last time a balloon entered our airspace and this one should’ve been intercepted much sooner. 🔥 UPDATE: In a statement, NORAD confirmed that fighter jets were scrambled to intercept an unidentified balloon when it was detected over Utah. The balloon is currently making its way across the country, soaring high at 43-45K feet. Apparently, it's a Mylar balloon with a two-foot cube payload. The potential dangers and the true source of this balloon are still unknown. From the illegal immigrants entering our country to the unregulated balloons flying overhead, these issues highlight the potential dangers we could face in the future to our country.
