@Gabino_Iglesias Another relevant detail: Dropping that slop on your friend isn't only unethical, it makes your friend's work ineligible to land deals with publishers (like us) that stipulate no-AI in their contracts.

I’m not telling you what to do, but many of us don’t use beta readers, so unless you have some you’d trust with your life, maybe right now is not a good time to start looking. I’ve seen dozens of angry/sad “My beta reader told me they fed my book to AI” posts, and fuck that.

If you've agreed to read a manuscript for the purposes of giving feedback and then feed it into ChatGPT to get the feedback, you're the devil. Don't do that to your creative friends. It's unethical and it would put them in violation of no-AI clauses in contracts (including ours).
