Why is it every time you see something such as this, it's always just "books one specific school district stopped stocking at the library in Futtabuck, Alabama?"
Like there are plenty of books that have been banned by various governments around the world, books burned by Nazis, books long out of print that are too controversial to reprint. Hell, I would even accept if these were books that were banned from being brought to schools from an outside source, but no, it's always a combination of international best sellers, pornography and books that are mandatory reading across half the English speaking world.
