This year's sale team enjoying some silage as they came out the shed. Looking great off shears They've had a great summer and have done very well with about 2t of supplement feed for the entire period. Our emphasis on genetic muscle and fat really proving itself in the field.

2022 drop ewe lambs averaging 49kgs. They are running on a barley stubble and have had no supplement feeding as of this video. 225 ewes weighed 50kg plus and were taken off to be joined. A quick class on structure, wool and #ASBVs to decide their joining group.

One group goes to @andrewbouffler Trigger Vale 190760 and the other will be 2 @leahcimgenetics Leahcim 202503, 2102607 and ram lamb 220357 by 202503. Having a straight outcross makes it easy and a quick way to infuse new genetics to our best Baderloo genetics 🧬

Plenty of helpers today droving the mixed age twin ewes home. Boys on the bikes and Elsie learning to drive the Ranger. Walter wanted to know why he couldn't drive, didn't have the heart to tell him I didn't trust him 🤣. He did get to steer for a while. Heaps of superior wools.

Triplet bearing ewes in and out the shed in under 19hrs and back to a fresh paddock. They are in a good 4.5 - 5 condition score. With 6 weeks til they start to drop Had their pre lamb vaccination,will get a pre lamb dernch prior going into lambing pdk when we have some fresh feed

Happy Easter Everyone. Got 2 truckloads of wood cut, kids were spoilt, great weather and time spent with family. Walter even found time for a nap while we were busy chopping wood 🤣😍. Shearing tomorrow and its finally raining, 🤞 it's a good one and we can start seeding as well

41 sets of triplets heading into the shed to be shorn first up in the morning. Getting these girls in and out as quickly as possible to minimise stress and time off feed. They will then head home to Baderloo where they will be split into early's and lates 20 per mob.

Some exceptional wools coming off the 9 month old ram lambs last week. Fleece weights were also fantastic with the heavier cutters producing 800g to 1kg per month straight out of the paddock. All this combined with industry leading growth, muscle/fat and fertility. #qualitywool

@Yangya182 Thanks James, they are first shorn at 4 months which puts them in line to join our 6 months program. The rams are shorn at 5 months for this shearing to prepare them for sale. Cheers
