🎟️ Away ticket sales for today’s game have now been suspended.
@braintreetownfc supporters will be able to buy tickets from the away end turnstiles by showing either proof of a Braintree address or a previous Braintree Town ticket (excluding fixtures against Southend).
I thought yesterday was a fantastic advert for the national league, 2 brilliant clubs with outstanding support, a very special mention to our fanbase who sang there hearts out for 90 minutes and turned up in numbers again, so many good players on show, well done everyone UTB 💙⚽️
@CJPhillips1982 Not sure what happened to Collin... he did such a good job during the 2022/23 season when David Martin was coaching him and some great saves the following season. Won young Young Player of the Season 2022/23.
Theres a narrative at the minute that we need to “spend big” to get out of this league.
We’ve done that before and nearly went bust and we’re still paying for it 10 years on.
Which is part of the reason why we can’t invest in a way a lot of supporters would like us to.
Members of the FAB and YAB will be at tomorrow's game vs. Brackley, and at Meet the Blues Day on Tuesday. Look out for board members wearing these lanyards, and feel free to approach us! We'd love to speak to fans and hear their views on the matchday experience and other topics.
💳 From Saturday's match against Aldershot Town, Roots Hall will be operating as a cashless venue.
⏩ The new system will allow a smoother matchday experience for supporters, speeding up transactions and queue times.
@GBNEWS How much is this going to cost?
How much energy are the data centres that will store all this data use?
How does this help close the ‘£20bn’ black hole?

@saintsman2320@ScottyBarber91@BBCEssexSport Unless you win the league it’s playoffs anyway, so don’t see the obsession with finishing 2nd or 3rd. And seeing how the gap in games affected the teams who finished 2nd/3rd seemed to go against them in the playoffs it seems favourable to finish 4-7th
@ScottyBarber91@BBCEssexSport Why do we have to settle for 3-7
We should be challenging for top 3 spots
The playoff was incredible
However this season yes it’s the best in years
But we’re seeing things creep in again
Drop players if they are not playing well
Is it me or would any other club be happy with two defeats in ten matches and have a game in hand?
Would any other club hit the panic button in September?
Yes last night was awful, but a little bit of realisation would show it’s still been a bloody good start @BBCEssexSport
@CJPhillips1982 Collin has been good this season bar the error at Wealdstone and the two on Wednesday, but you can’t reward a poor performance with a start the next game. Hayes in for Saturday and hopefully that will give Collin some drive to perform better next time he is picked
