This young Baha’i man in Iran, Peyvand Naeimi, is facing execution after being tortured, interrogated, and put through two mock hangings. Two times they walked him to death. Two times they made him believe it was over. Then they brought him back just to break him further. He was arrested during protests for demanding change. NATIONWIDE ATTACKS: On 20 October 2025, Iranian security and intelligence agents launched sweeping, coordinated operations targeting Baha'is in at least six provinces—Sistan and Baluchestan, Semnan, Mazandaran, Fars, Isfahan, and Tehran. At least twenty-two Baha'is had their homes and businesses subjected to invasive searches, threats, and interrogations. Agents confiscated personal belongings and electronic devices, sealed workplaces, and arrested and detained some individuals in unknown locations. This coordinated wave of attacks marks a grave intensification of the ongoing anti-Baha'i crackdown, designed to instill fear and exert economic pressure through loss of livelihoods and violations of basic civil rights. We call on the international community, media, human rights defenders, and all people of conscience to demand that the Government of Iran end its systematic abuse of the rights of Baha'i and all its citizens. #Iran #Bahai #HumanRights
